Conviction is one of the three stats of the Dungeons and Discourse universe, along with charisma and credibility commonly refered to as CON. Conviction is the neutral, defensive stat. Those who reject reality altogether, those who live only to aid others, and/or those who consider that all is relative rely more on Conviction. The primary purpose of Conviction is the preservation of its owner, despite whatever other silly argument is thrown their way. Every point in Conviction gains the bearer three more HP. As well, people with great Conviction are stalwart defenders of… …whatever. In combat, they can choose to Heal their party rather than attacking increasing their HP by 1d6+ their Conviction, or defend themselves to reduce all damage to themselves.
