Hey guys.
In case you don't remember, We're in need of some sample adventures for the DM's manual. It's really not my cup of tea but I'll give writing one or two a shot, but I need some volunteers to fill it out slightly more.
If you volunteer, I'll suggest a kind of adventure [ie. Treasure Grabbing, Political Intrigue, etc.] but unless the style you want to do is already taken by someone else, I'll take it. I'm hoping to get up a page of Mods on the wiki proper, so even if they don't make it in the manual [they probably will], they'll find a place on the site.
Ideas:
Fantasyland: A collection of references to various novels and stories in a complete mismash with a lone [likely insane] mind at the center. The party navigates the plot of the story from a very meta-perspective and their alterations to the story causes major commotions. The PCs are either explorers or lost. [Exploration/Surreal]
Fountain Head: Head over to Fountain Head with promises of cash for cleaning out the sewers from Ped-ants and Obscur-ants, possibly while dodging/dealing with wandering Existentialists and a growing population of disillusioned Utilitarians. [Hack and Slash]
Necrius: You wake up dead. Greeted by the "Black Wings", a revolutionary faction, players are assured that if they disappear they die. Meanwhile various Gods and Proselytites attempt to sell their religion to them and offering transcendence. Battle it out inside of various temples or just the streets. Be ready to either split the party or insist that it be entirely religious or atheists. [Vaguely Counterstrike-sque]
Political: Choose a faction in any of the capitals and fight for supremacy. Presuade enemies of the party in back alleys, complete missions to help locals or just have friendly debates to persuade the masses. A bit more of a sandbox mission, where they player's success is rewarded by approval rating. Failures becomes targets for mudslingers.
Illegal: Smuggle information and technology between rival factions. Flee from police or rivals. Fairly standard stuff. Ideal Locations: Logos [smuggling corporate information to the blackmarket], Ethos [smuggling Logosian tech] or Tian [Smuggling anything.]
Tian: Assemble a team of wandering philosophers and protect a small town from becoming the center of a massive battlefield between rebels and Confucians. Overthrow a corrupt leader or guard it against an on coming attack. [Magnificent Seven]
Exploratory: Arrive in any of the vaguely unexplored areas [Ancient Ruins, Mathemagipelagos, Temenos, etc.] and attempt to recover more information than rival teams. Chart dungeons, towns, get general info.
